Hi! My name is Katie Tsai. I am a senior at Duke University. My interest in photography began when I took beginner film and digital photography classes during my freshman year of high school. As part of these courses, I experimented with many genres of photography including portraiture, abstract, architecture, landscape, and conceptual. My passion for photography, however, flourished when I went on a National Geographic student expedition to Tokyo. It was there that I fell in love with capturing foreign cultures. In addition to photography, I enjoy dance, theater, and literature.
